A customer came to me seeking a solution to the lack of hot water pressure and hot water flow within their property. The house is a 4 bedroom home with a bathroom with seperate shower and a ensuite shower room, kitchen,utility and downstairs WC. The existing boiler was a standard efficiency floor standing worcester oil combi boiler. Combi boilers are great provided they are sized correctly to cope with the hot water and heating demands of a household. In this case the house and demands outweighed the current supply possible from the existing boiler

I recommended we replace the existing combi boiler with a high efficiency condensing boiler and install a unvented mains pressure high efficiency 250 litre hot water storage cylinder. The cylinder is sized to comfortably service all the hot water needs on demand for the household and any extra additions in the future
